What a Reckon Desktop user gets in One
Desktop already closes a year and produces the schedules an accountant lodges. This add-on is the same close, sitting on a Reckon One book — investor CGT included — without a second product to learn.
| In Desktop today | In One with this add-on |
|---|---|
| Year-end CGT worksheet on the company or individual file. | Same worksheet, attached to the One book (Labs Demo — AU Individual). |
| Share parcels keyed or imported; FIFO is the default method. | CommSec / IBKR-style CSV in, FIFO parcels out. Prior-year lots kept for the 12-month test. |
| Discount applied after losses, on paper, by the accountant. | ATO order is explicit: other gains, then discountable, then 50%. Integer cents. |
| Crypto often lives in a sidecar spreadsheet. | Crypto is a CGT asset on the same pack. Stock and crypto split, then one net figure. |
| Print the schedule; email the PDF. | Export the PDF, or push the pack onto the One book (stub OAuth in this demo). |
This page is the parity note, not the demo. The walkthrough is Home → Sources → Ledger → Parcels → Pack.
